When using Chatrandom, it took no time at all to be connected to another chatter. Chatrandom knows there is a market out there for people who will gladly pay a premium price for access to females. For everyone else, though, the $20 a month price tag may be a little steep. It’s primarily a good idea to choose the weekly option if one wants to try out the service to see if it is right for them.

Cam to cam with three other strangers

Chatrandom doesn’t leave the free members out in the cold, though. The adult chat site also gives users the option to chat in a few different ways: cam to cam with three strangers and chat rooms (more on the latter in a moment). Focusing on the former for a moment, chatting with three other strangers simultaneously is as easy as selecting the ‘Experiences’ drop-down menu and choosing Cam4VideoChat. Gay chat and of course Random Chat can be chosen from this menu as well.

Once selected, four boxes will appear on the screen. The video feed of three other people will load along with the user’s feed. From there, users can chat with each other just as if they were chatting one-on-one – only this time, it’s with three people at the same time.

It’s a fun feature that will most likely result in members seeing three dudes jerking off simultaneously instead of just one. Still, it’s worth trying at least once – plus, it’s a great idea! All adult chat sites should be this forward-thinking.

Chat rooms are a nice touch

Another feature for free members is the chat rooms. To get there, once again select ‘Experiences’ from the drop-down menu and choose Chat Rooms. Here, people will be able to choose from seven different chat rooms.

Unfortunately, chat rooms like just friends, college chat, and random singles & dating were empty. The only chat rooms with people in them were the random video chat, random gay & bi, and text-only rooms. Click any of the populated rooms, and users are back to square one: seeing only penises.

It's worth noting that there is a 'chat with girls' room, but it’s only for premium members. This room is always fairly populated with hundreds in there at any given time. Signing up for a membership (at least a weekly membership) is at least worth a one-time cost of admission just to see what this room is all about (plus, one gets the filtering options to boot). It may not be for everyone, but for the curious, it’s worth becoming a short-term member just to check out this room.

Wear mask in-chat

Not everyone wants to show their face on cam, but they still want to cam with others anyway. It may sound like an oxymoron, but for those that want to show themselves while staying anonymous, Chatrandom makes it happen. When camming with someone, look for the ‘Mask’ icon in one’s video chat window. Select it, and choose from a variety of masks to wear in-chat.

For the user that wants to show off their body and get freaky with other cammers without showing their face, this is the perfect option. Plus, it allows people to be more spontaneous and open on cam, making them feel more comfortable than they otherwise would be. Try out this option – especially for those suffering from anxiety on cam – and experience the difference!

Can opt to text chat

Don’t feel like camming? Chatrandom allows users to jump straight into text chatting without ever having to get on cam. Simply turn off one’s cam and select the ‘Start’ button as normal. Instead of connecting to a video chat, Chatrandom will connect users to a person that also has their webcam off. This will allow both parties to text chat, allowing them to get to know one another while being truly anonymous.

In-chat verifications let users know they are speaking with legit people

One of the best ways that Chatrandom lets users know they are speaking with real people is via the in-chat verification badge. To get one’s own, select the ‘Chat Settings’ button in one’s video window (the bottom left-hand side of the page) and select ‘Get verified’ under ‘Show verified badge to others.’ Only Chatrandom Plus members can be verified.

It isn’t a requirement, and for those that don’t care about chatting with verified members, this can be ignored. Still, for those that want to be able to know who they are chatting with, it’s a lifesaver. Look for the badge if it’s important to one, and look for them when jumping from one chatter to another.

Chatrandom.com goes above the norm and allows users to match with people of their preferred sex. Unfortunately, the steep cost per month may keep some people away.
