The general premise of these games was that you spent some coins to be able to play a casual game like Mahjong, match-em-up or even a straight up shooter, but the reward at the end was always an image of a naked girl. If you were really lucky you’d even get a bit of an animation. That is presumably what inspired Nutaku to make Booty Calls. The game itself has absolutely nothing to do with smut. It is a very simple marble matching game, like the Bejeweled of old. In fact, it’s almost identical to Bejeweled, but Nutaku went way out of their way to frame the game in a sexual context. So let’s delve into the actual gameplay and story of Booty Calls.

The Gameplay Experience

When you first fire up Booty Calls you’ll be greeted with a familiar visual novel style interface through which you can talk to characters on screen and decide what your character is going to say at key points of the story. You find yourself on a beach facing a very hot, very nude pink haired sex demon who insists that she be your new companion. She also insists that it is time for you to collect pussy juice – literally. So, she takes it upon herself to teach you the ways of the pussy, any way she knows how. It should be noted at this point that your actual dialogue options are really just attempts at humor, rather than actual branching storylines. They make absolutely no difference. The idea is that you are on a story-rail and you will inevitably end up talking to more girls. Your pink haired companion will make sure of it. So she takes you to a forest, and then back to the beach to meet up with a few ladies, most of whom are dying to talk to you. Generally, it doesn’t matter whether the girls like you or not, because you get to convince them to strip for you by playing the actual game, and this is where you switch over to the Bejeweled antics. You talk to a girl for a bit, you get to know her and then the game starts. From that moment on you have to match colored marbles in a row to destroy them and bring on more colored marbles. Once you’ve racked up enough points, the girl has been swayed and you are one step closer to sleeping with her. However, your first few interactions will not feature any actual sexual interaction. The game’s story is laid out in such a way that you build relationships with these girls progressively, as time goes on. That means that your first few rewards for winning an interaction with a girl are going to be fully clothed images of them that will feature some lewd connotation. Maybe you can see the girl’s panties, or a bit of side-boob. Generally, they’ll be woefully underwhelming.

Easy to Get Into

Unlike the girls that you’re romancing within, the game is actually pretty easy to play, and Nutaku have made sure to make it super accessible. The game can be played entirely in-browser, and while it does take a ridiculously long time to load, it works quite well once it’s actually ready. On top of that they have come out with both an iOS and an Android version for the game, so you can play it on the go. Playing on your phone might actually make more sense given the game’s casual approach and the fact that swiping on your phone is a natural fit for the type of gameplay that Booty Calls brings to the table. However, you’ll see a lot of anime girls on your screen in varying stages of undress, so you might not want to play this game on public transportation. For what the game actually has to offer, it’s a really tight experience and it’s quite well coded, from a technical perspective. It’s fast, responsive and the controls are very intuitive. The conversations in the visual novel style part of the game flow nicely and you can skip through them really fast if you want to. The matching gameplay, which is basically the core gameplay, is oddly satisfying. The only complain you might have about it is that it is simply not smut related at all. If you’re looking to jack off while you play this game, you can forget about it. It’s simply impossible to stay excited about the girls while you’re busy matching colored marbles. Besides, all you can see is the girl, usually fully clothed, right above the gameplay, and some sexually suggestive noises she makes while you’re doing the work.

Match-em-up games like Bejeweled and Candy Crush are very famously made for women because they are the main demographic of people who enjoy that particular type of casual game. This makes Booty Calls a bit of a weird combination of male-oriented smut with casual gameplay. The game might be a lot more fun to play if the girls strip as you play the game, so your attention is split between their curves and those of the marbles. Unfortunately, that is not the case. These are proper high quality girls you get to see, in extremely high resolutions. Further, the game is not a cheap flash game, but a proper in-browser app. It works even better on phones given that the entire screen is properly devoted to the game and there are no ads what-so-ever. This game wants your money, pretty bad. For a casual game, it punishes you pretty hard if you do not opt to spend some hard earned cash on in-game items. And there are tons of items to spend your money on, rest assured. They all help towards the gameplay, accelerating the pace at which you actually get to see some proper hardcore action between your character and the girls. In theory, the game is perfectly playable without you having to pay a single cent, but the game goes out of its way to convince you otherwise.

For a casual smut game, Booty Calls has a very devoted fanbase. They even have their own Discord channel where they hang out and discuss the game. Also, the writing of the game can be quite hilarious at times, especially if you like immature humor. The entire game is very light-hearted in spirit and there are no intense moments. So if you like long gaps between nudity in your porn games and you’re a fan of games like Bejeweled, you should probably give Booty Calls a try and maybe consider joining their Discord channel.
