Welcomix.com is the place to be for comic porn lovers. The site is chock full of amazingly illustrated XXX comics and cartoons covering plenty of fantasies. They claim to be the "best XXX comics and cartoons website," which is undoubtedly a generous statement to make given the level of competition. However, there are plenty of titles to check out, and new ones are being added. Users are looking at comics featuring caveman banging, billionaire boning, monster fucking, incest, group sex, and more. This place has plenty of exclusive series that users can follow and enjoy. Comics feature hordes of burning hot and beautifully sketched babes that will appeal to many sexual fantasies. This review takes a more in-depth look at the collection.

Welcomix has been providing users with fantastic adult comics since it was launched in July 2015. Their collection pulls in around 500 thousand visits per month, which may not seem like a lot, but it is worth considering that this is a niche site that caters to a specific audience.

One thing the user should know from the onset is that Welcomix is actually a premium site, and a subscription is required to access the content. However, users can browse sample pages from the comics before they commit to a premium membership, which is fantastic. Users will be paying around 20 bucks for a month’s access to Welcomix.com.  

Judging by the sample pages, the content cuts across multiple art styles, and they are all unmistakably professional. The artistic quality is commendable. Another thing that has to be said is the styles are distinctly Western, and anyone looking for hentai or manga won’t find them here. With a membership, users can expect plenty of titles including but not limited to a Simpsons porn parody called The Simptoons. 

Welcomix tries to lure readers in by giving them a pretty big taste of everything. Any of the series titles allows users to read the first few pages of the most recent issues. However, they cut the reader off right when it’s getting really hot and heavy, and the only way to enjoy the collection is through the aforementioned monthly membership. 

13 series to pick from so far

Users are welcomed to this cartoon party by a decent looking landing page. Granted, the white background is not the best, and a darker one would have been much better, but the site is clean and steers clear of annoying banners ads, flashing videos, or popups. The team at Welcomix has gone for simplicity in terms of design. It looks minimal, if a tad too stripped down and the header up top has tabs for Home, All Series, All Titles, and Support. Below the header is a list preview of all the series on the website, and they are 13 in total, each with its own set of comic entries within it. The names include The Naughty Home, Animated Tales, and Brazilian slum dogs, among others. 

Inevitably, some of the series have more entries than others. The Naughty Home and Animated Tales are good examples, with the latter having well over 100 entries. However, the majority of the other series might only have 2-3 entries, which is unfortunate. The following is a quick look at the series and what they are about; 

Brazilian Slum Dogs; this series is all about slum dogs living in the ghettos of Rio De Janeiro where there is a shortage of cash, the shanties are crowded. But there is never a shortage of fun and sex. 

The Simptoons; the name gives it away- it’s a heavily sexualized parody to the popular Simpsons cartoon.

College Perverts; this series looks at the lives of wild college students who love fun and loads of sex.

Jurassic Tribe; this super fan comic is all about a tribe of people living in the prehistoric times with tales of fierce monsters and dinosaurs crazy for sex.

There is also a series titled Animated Tales. Still, users should be informed that there is nothing animated about the series. Like the rest of the comics, they are still; images accompanied by some text as a narrative. The ‘animated’ was probably meant to refer to their lively nature.  

The comics follow some kind of narrative. One of the juicy stories involves a couple of gorgeous babes trying to get on a crowded bus after a day at the beach. However, the bus is absolutely packed, and the only way to ride home is to stand. Due to the crowding, a dude has his shaft directly on one of the girl’s asses, which immediately makes him hard. Luckily for him, the girl is all for it and even encourages the dude by stroking his wily and helping it into her ass. All the while, the other passengers don’t seem to notice the atrocities. Needless to say, there are more of such engaging, and highly erotic stories and lovers of porn comics will no doubt be entertained.

Unreliable updates schedule

The previews have the title of the series, a short description, and a thumbs up or thumbs down counter. However, the rating system is a bit confusing, given the highest-rated comic has 25 likes. Another thing; the support page claims that they update weekly, and a quick check shows that the update schedule is far from reliable. The Naughty Home series, for instance, shows a five-month gap between the updates. At best, there is at least a month between the updates. Away from that, comics can be sorted by more recent, oldest, most viewed today, most viewed this month, and most liked among others.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the comics are available in varying lengths, some have a few panels while others read like full-length comic book entries. The length inconsistencies aside, one thing remains constant; all the comics are really well done. The quality of the artwork is unquestionable, and the artistic brains behind the comics have to be saluted.  

The comic panels are availed in big images, and everyone should be able to read every text and see the small details. However, there is another obstacle. Apparently, there is no way to download them. Even the old and tested method of right-clicking an image to save it does not apply to these comics. There are also huge watermarks across the back of every panel, which is probably to protect the work from being stolen, but that’s not possible when the images are not downloadable. 

Navigating the comics is also a bit of a challenge with no arrow key or slideshow feature. Users will have to make do with clicking on the “next page” every time they want to move to the next panel, which is an unwelcome inconvenience. It is something the team at Welcomix should be looking at.

Things to love about Welcomix

Exclusive artwork; the comics are all unique and won’t be found elsewhere, which makes them spicy.

High quality; the comic panels are presented in the form of large, high res images that allows the viewer to pick out every detail.  

Reasonably priced; in most cases, premium comic sites dealing with exclusive content cost an arm and a length, but at 20 bucks per month, the membership cost is relatively fair. 

Mobile responsive; the site has a fantastic mobile site with all the options on the desktop version and even faster loading comics.  

Possible concerns

Irregular updates; the site claims to update every week, but the reality is the update schedule is inconsistent, and updates take weeks and sometimes months. 

Navigation is a challenge; the lack of arrow key navigation or slideshow features makes navigating the comics burdensome.

No downloads; not only do the photos have huge watermarks across the back, but they are also pretty much impossible to download. 

How the site can improve

For a site that has only been around a few years, there is a solid collection. But it is nowhere near enough, especially given the price users are paying for this. More updates could go a long way. Also, the site could probably team up with other sites to get bonus content for their members. An arrow key navigation feature is an absolute necessity, and the team should look forward to sorting that ASAP. 

Conclusion

Well, Welcomix is a decent source of high-quality comics covering plenty of fantasies. Still, the lack of regular updates is a big concern. The collection is not that huge, and membership doesn’t come with any bonus content. The site is undoubtedly one to keep an eye on, but for $20, users will be expecting more.
