The creation of erotic comics has been – in more ways than one – an art form. After all, creating this kind of started decades ago during the Second World War starting with Tijuana Bibles. Of course, like anything new, they were not particularly good or creative, as they were (at best) decently drawn and often were parodies of popular cartoons or celebrities.

However, over the decades in both the West and the East, erotic entertainment in general and smut comics, in particular, have improved markedly and become incredibly diverse. Further, after the Japanimation invasion of the nineties into North America, there has been the development of a new wave of erotic comics and platforms to publish them on.

One of the better of these is Slipshine, or more popularly known as Orgymania.

For Decades This Site Has Been A Fan-made Fappers Dream

According to Orgymania's own backstory, one Joshua L., while just out of college, decided to create a porn site, and the rest is history.  Of course, there is more to it than that. The longer version is that one Josh L. (full last name unknown) was attempting to create artistic erotica and promote his work in order to make money. By his own admission, he was not terribly talented, but he did have decent support from a handful of subscribers on his site, then called Slipshine.

For those who are wondering, the name comes from its apparent catchiness and Josh’s penchant to draw shiny characters. Moving on, starting with just several dozen paid supporters, along with the help of an established artist Robert DeJesus, managed to crank out 30 pages of animated erotic comics a month. As the pair gained momentum, they managed to attract other artists with similar interests and talent and then published more original comic smut, including flagship titles, which allowed the site to explode across the net. Or at least those titles would eventually, since the site -- then called Slipshine -- did not load properly on certain browsers for a whole year!

Moving on, by circa 2006, the site garnered over five hundred subscribers and had multiple artists regularly producing dozens of pages of comic content monthly. A couple of years later, the website managed to partner with other professional cartoon smut producers, including Phil Foglio, who created the famous Xxxenophile series. In the coming years, Slipshine was redesigned again and rebranded as Orgymania and publishes several bi-monthly comics and monthly comics, totaling to over a hundred pages worth of content regularly.

Maximalist Design To The Max Here

Comics for people who think sex is FANTASTIC.

That is the tag line for Orgymania, and it is pretty clear that the site designers believe this. Once you get past the age verification screen, your eyeballs are going to be blasted with copious amounts of ball bursting fap material. While we found it to be a bit jarring at first – and for many of you may take some adjustment – the homepage is a series of promotional art of all comic series hosted along with side adverts which encourage readers to subscribe.

And since there are so many series that are not yet finished and the scrolling options, with respect to portion installments, you can see the completeness of each ongoing series at the bottom of the page. Although it is hard to see, there is a menu in the upper left-hand corner where you can get links to the About Me, Contact, Subscribe/Login section, and Previews.

Which Are The Best Raunchy Rags To Read?

Obviously, the main thrust of this site are the sheer number of well-drawn, erotic, yet still well-done comics on this site. In fact, from what we can tell, while there have been some additions and a few subtractions, there are at least two dozen-plus another ten or so well-done erotic comics to choose from.

And to make things better, rather than fixate on the sex exclusively or draw the (amorous) action out for page after page, virtually all of these erotic e-zines combine both plot and porn. Yes, you read that correctly: this site hosts content which produces actual plot-driven porn, which will drive you crazy. Anyway, there are several to select from, so we decided to focus on our favorites, which we officially recommend…

Lust Boat – This is the first comic that caught our eye. Look at for yourself, and we are sure you will figure out quickly as to why. From both the thumbnail and the promo art for the first part in the series, you know that you are into a wild ride – much like many of the characters. The premise is that the protagonist, Stan, is aboard a cruise where any sexually arousing thing can and does happen. From sex dreams to real-world encounters, you are going to see a series of phenomenal fap-tastic comic book sequences. And all in a very western, though sometimes basic style which does incorporate a decent amount of color and certainly an appropriate amount of crosshatching.

Neaolitan – Are you into domination fantasies? Better question, are you into stories that feature domination of men by women? Even better question, do you enjoy seeing and reading well-drawn comics of women domming men? If so, then this is a strip (no pun intended) that you should be reading right now. Despite the lack of color, this is not a strip to miss. There are copious amounts of sex – or, more specifically, S&M fem-dom cartoon porn – mixed with an unusual plot wherein the female dom protagonist is a bit apprehensive. As a side, the art style is quite unique as it combines an eastern flair with a sort of refined version of western elements.

Adult Friends Comix – To be honest, we were not overly enthused with the art style of this strip. It was gratuitous, crude, poorly shaded, and highly limited when it comes to angles. Having said all of that, this electronic and certainly adult version of Beavis and Butt-Head contains tons of phallically-focused humor, and plenty of other entertaining erotica to keep your interest.

Dragons Prefer Princesses – Or at least in this series, they certainly do. SPOILER ALERT: This series is published entirely in black-and-white, but we still do not think that should deter you from this unusually written and well-drawn comic strips. The story features a combination of the stereotypical fairy-princess romance fantasies, which also include elements from Greek mythology (for example, a lot of the characters have satyr-like horns) and an ongoing series of lesbian romances. And for those who are either romantically interested or are generally titillated, there are several romantic plot threads involving different characters coupled with highly sexually charged scenes.

Sister Dulfia Focka – Or at least that is what we think the way the way it should be spelled, since the title in some form of Gothic font. Anyway, all of you Catholics – or rather those with a penchant for nuns in skimpy uniforms – should certainly check it out as the series follows fap-worthy content of slutty nuns trying to tame their sexual desires.

The Rock Cocks – Updated thrice weekly, this e-zine follows the adventures of a series of young men and women in a rock band who are looking to buildup their careers and enjoy their sex lives. Interestingly, the art style varies greatly, and unlike most other strips on this site, this series has a neat navigation tool which is reminiscent of a tape player. We know that some of our readers do not (only) like the usual (read: heteronormative) types of pornography, so we decided to include a few other comic strips which do not fit the usual sexual mode and feature members with prominent members or augmented mammaries.

Phantasmagoria Cafe – This full-color comic is exquisitely well-drawn and has a phenomenal plot which is set in a most unusual place – a cafe located in the Monster Realm. Naturally, the characters, virtually all of them men, who pass through are not just looking to get through that interdimensional bit of transit, but also get off. And boy, do they. In addition to extraterrestrials and extra-dimensionals, the various characters include furries, as well as a cute and contemporary take on Frankenstein's monster, among other fantastic creatures. Erotic fantasy fans beware; you may spend an enormous amount of time reading through this one.

Epicurean Quest – While the artwork may remind you of Farmville, if it made a baby with Steven Universe, the moniker is actually just about as clever as the title. In this comic strip, the food is just as imaginative as the sex. And as predictable as you might imagine since the second page literally features our lesbian protagonist setting out a cheese plate. And no, that is not a joke, check it out for yourself. Moving on, there is still a good amount of plot and porn – although, since it is a lesbian comic, it leans more towards the former.

The Key To Her Heart – Yes, it sounds like a lesbian romance series, and technically it is, but this strip has a few twists and turns. Or should we say pop up surprises? One example of these would be the fact that the protagonist – who is biologically female, literally sprouts a dick – in the first issue of the series. I am sure that some of you are curious, and yes, the rest of her anatomy is female – complete with a vagina just below said, well-drawn phallus. Yeah, this comic features the ultimate transvestite fantasy. Moving on, the primary character goes through a series of (initially) awkward sexual escapades, which start with seemingly mundane circumstances but always ends in a delightful, cummy ending. We are sure that no matter your orientation, you will enjoy this series.

Boykakke – This is one wherein the name says it all. It is another black-and-white strip but still one which has been drawn and published in high-quality. The premise of the series is a genius scientist who develops a novel formula that changes her, or soon his, gender with the same sexual desires intact. As an additional side effect, his libido has been greatly heightened, and the protagonist just happens to be able to hook up with (almost) every guy he comes across. Most stories tend to be rather short, both when it comes to the actual plot content and the total number of panels. However, given the amount of action-packed in each and the level of quality, we cannot complain too much and give a general endorsement for this strip. It is also worth bringing up that this strip is featured prominently on the main part of the home of orgymania.net.

Interested in More Kinky Content – They Have Guests

Besides the dozens of erotic comics that we have briefly overviewed, there are even more from apparent interns to the site time. Or rather, we should refer to them by their proper titles – New Artists and Special Guests. This part of the site, located about the upper center middle portion of the homepage, has about half a dozen different series, which feature some wild fap fantasies. Between big-breasted elf demons, romantic man on woman scenarios, and scenarios wherein archaeologists digging up and each other's bones. We should add that while they do rotate through guest appearances, if you have an account, there almost a thousand pages archived as of this review for you to look through.

What Do You Get For Subscribing?

While the site is in-part free-to-see, there are some nice benefits to becoming a paying member of the site. As a subscriber, you get full access to larger (over 800 pixels wide) plus the entire site archive. To put that into perceptive, there are dozens of series and over 23,000 pages of cartoon porn. Further, site navigation is easier with a paid membership, and there is a sort of search feature. It is also important to note that some comics, in the free version, are deliberately censored. Specifically, genitals are pixelated, as we have seen in most East Asian porn. However, with a membership, you do not have to worry about dealing with any of that.

We should also note that there is an additional sign-up charge, which, according to Orgymania's FAQ is to cover the archive maintenance cost. For context, the initial cost is $24.95 for thirty days, but then only $9.95 a month. Alternatively, you can get a 60-day or 90-day recurring subscription for $33.95, then $18.95, and $41.95, then $27.50, respectively. Lastly, you can get a 182-day membership for $51.99 or an annual membership for $95.99, both of which are non-recurring Payments are securely processed through CCBill, and you can pay with major credit and debit cards, or even with an e-check. If you have any issues with subscribing or paying, contact them, not Orgymania. Strangely, there are no options to pay via gift card or even using cryptocurrencies. Amusingly, there is an option to pay for membership with sex, but only if you are a snowman.

So, while email submissions, no matter how good will be ignored, if you build up your own following online with your erotic comic, the more likely it is that Orgymania’s staff will reach out to you.

Visual Assault: How We Describe The Similarities & Difference When Viewing Orgymania On Different Devices

Both the mobile and desktop versions of Orgymania have their difference, but even at a glance, they have one thing in common – they blast your eyes with beautiful, buxom babes along with other cartoon body parts as soon as you log in. When looking at the homepage on a mobile device, there initially is not a massive disparity, though as you continue to navigate things, get a little trickier. While you can zoom in and out of one spot on the page, we find that to be both tedious and, unfortunately, necessary when scrolling between pages after you have clicked on a strip. Furthermore, doing this may be necessary depending on the size of the screen of the smartphone or tablet you are using since even with a paid account, seeing each panel clearly can be tough. To sum up, Orgymania needs to be optimized for mobile machines, and so we recommend viewing the site on a laptop or desktop computer.

What We Like About Orgymania

Where do we begin? To start, this porn platform provides literally hundreds of megabytes (or something like that) of digital comic strips. And rather than promote carbon copy comics, they publish a wide variety of cartoon smut, which appeals to almost every fetish and orientation. To be clear, that does not mean that they host content which features child abuse or will otherwise scare the horses – although we did see some anthropomorphic equine characters – but excluding content which would be illegal were it produced IRL you are going to find damn near everything else. Moving forward, there is fresh fap content uploaded on a consistent basis, guaranteed. And through a few different channels, website updates, and social media, you know exactly how certain series is developing.

What We Hate About Orgymania

Ignoring what we have already critiqued in other sections, we do find it odd that Orgymania provides extensively generous previews of many strips but does not tease the viewer with promotional thumbnails of other archived comics. To be fair, this is not something that we think is absolutely terrible, but is a major aesthetic difference. However, a much bigger issue we have is with the homepage layout. While it makes sense to promote the site’s content, especially given its quality and quantity, we think that the way that it is presented is visually overwhelming. We also find it odd that, as far as we know, you cannot download entire comics in any form.

Our Suggestions For This Website

While Orgymania looks great, we would reduce the number of promotional sections which encourage subscription. Further, we would place on the homepage a handful, perhaps four or six large promo pictures of a few comics – some of which are ongoing series, and the others would be from the archives. To retain the readership of new viewers and entice repeated free viewers interested in signing up, we would rotate through series presented on the site. We would also make the scroll and search function found in The Rock Cocks available on all comic series. Lastly, certainly for paying members, we would allow people to download their favorite series.

Is This Sex ‘zine An E-zine You Should Be Reading?
