It was the year 2000 when USASexGuide went online. Over 20 years later, the forum has helped hundreds of thousands of hobbyists find the providers they are craving. How many similar forums have that many members? It's a seriously impressive number and one that's reflective of the number of years the veteran provider forum has put into serving the community. Keep in mind that number isn’t necessarily active members – there are no stats that show that on the front page. Speaking of stats, these can be found online at the front page. It's to the left-hand side of the page (below the 'International Sex Guide' link), and one can see a variety of stats showing just how many people visit USASexGuide at any given time. What's very interesting is the online user's section. Jumping in and out of the forum at various times, there was never less than 1,200 people online at any moment. Even in the early morning, one can find close to 2,000 people browsing the forum. A forum! In this day and age, the fact that these many people are still visiting what's seemingly thought of as an artifact of Web 1.0, USASexGuide must be doing something right.

Abbreviations/glossary section is extremely helpful

For hobbyists just starting their journey toward finding a provider for the evening (or morning, afternoon, whatever the case may be), there is a ton of terminology one should know. As a person browses reports, they are bound to find abbreviations and terms that seem foreign. This happens on every provider forum one can browse as well. When privacy is at the forefront of most Web user's minds, the last thing a person should be doing is Googling these terms and leaving a data trail behind (in fact, users should be using a VPN when browsing similar forums). USASexGuide wants to make it easy for people to learn. That’s why they’ve included a resource that lists tons of abbreviations and terms related to finding a temporary provider. When in doubt, don’t Google: go to the ‘Forum Abbreviations’ on the left side of the home page (in the ‘Hotlinks’ window) and use it whenever stuck. In fact, for those that frequent other, similar forums, keep a mental note of the glossary and abbreviations page. It’s a godsend when one needs to quickly reference what something like ATM means (no, it has nothing to do with getting cash out of a machine).

Every state has its own section

Whereas some provider forums only feature a region or only populated states, USASexGuide doesn’t do that. Instead, every state – regardless of its size or activity- features a section that has the information members need to make an informed decision regarding a provider. It works like this: once a person clicks a state, they will then be shown the various cities/regions in that state. Click the city, and members will see various threads featuring good information such as general reports, strip club reports, truck stop reports (more on those later), escort/streetwalker/massage parlor reviews, and more. Each thread shows the latest post to keep members from jumping to a thread that hasn’t seen any action in months/years.

Forum looks beyond outdated

That isn’t to say that the forum isn’t functional, nor is it to say that it doesn’t work well. Nothing could be further from the truth. The classic phrase, ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it,’ perfectly applies here. Still, USASexGuide could use at least a small facelift. That’s because it looks like a forum from the year 2000 – the year the site went live. It is so dated that it could drive a lot of new members away, though when one considers the sensitive nature of this forum that could be seen as a positive. Look, the outdated look would be a hindrance for 99% of adult sites. In the case of USASexGuide, it's an exception to the rule. Even so, the forum may want to splash a new coat of paint on the site soon.

That was so long ago that the iPhone hadn’t even been released! In all seriousness, this looks like a feature that was abandoned by USASexGuide a long time ago. Why it is still present is a mystery, but if it has no use, then it should be removed. It's more of an oddity than a problem.

Decent reviews of providers

Whether a person has visited a variety of escort forums as found on ThePornDude or this is their first time visiting such a place, reviews that feel legitimate are paramount. If a review feels like it was phoned in, doesn’t sound authentic, or generally says nothing about the provider in question, this could cause people to look elsewhere. A unique feature on USASexGuide that one doesn't find on most escort forums is the picture gallery. These are not pictures added by the provider, though – they are images that have been posted on the threads site-wide. Whether an image was posted in a random thread in West Virginia or in Colorado, it will appear in chronological order. It's a fantastic idea and a great way to find new providers based on the pictures alone. The sorting options are convenient here, too. Members can choose to look at only the images that were posted within a specific span of time (the smallest span of time one can choose is seven days), sort by newest, file name, or user name, and even by the forum. That last detail is very convenient. For those that want to narrow down the images by location, this section allows them to do so. Whatever needs a member has, if they want to browse by pictures, they can certainly do so!

Interstate and Truck Stop section

Here is something one may not find on similar forums. The interstate and truck stop section – while not active in every corner of the United States – is a unique section that gives members a chance to learn more about the providers that meet on the road. Every state on the forum has a section devoted to this. At the very least, it is worth checking out and seeing what is happening.

Each region and state also features ripoff reports

One of the most important features of any escort forum is to alert people when there are ripoff providers. It happens, and after reading the ripoff reports in one’s neck of the woods, they’re going to be glad that they exist. It isn’t to say that most providers are ripoffs by nature – most of them are trying to make an honest living. But it happens – and when it does, members need to be aware of it.

Suggestion:

USASexGuide has a ton of good information when it comes to providing members with options for finding new providers. The reviews make it simple to know who to trust, the scam alerts let people know who to stay away from – it's even possible to request certain types of providers that may be in the area. However, the site needs a bit of a facelift. It works, and it's functional, but an extra coat of paint could not hurt.
