From Seemingly Out Of Nowhere ThePornDude Appears

Offensive. Hilarious. Crude. Legendary. Decisive. Inspirational. These are just a few adjectives used to describe ThePornDude personality and all of them we got from the man behind the character. From what we have found, other people – both scornful critics and fanatical fans – would agree.

Form what we have found, the creator of ThePornDude brand was inspired by the now-defunct The Big List of Porn website. While TBLoP was rather basic, the thoroughness of the site inspired ThePorndude's creator to come up with an upgraded version. Specifically, this version would cover not only every porn site but also add some flair in the form of comedic commentary.

The first incarnation of this vision was MyPornBookmarks, which was launched in 2013. While ThePornDude character had not yet been developed, the basics of the TPD site design had been established along with a list of most of the sex sites which had been or (then) were about to be released.

Over the following months that year, ThePornDude was slowly introduced in the form of short reviews, which were only a few hundred words long. As this happened, the site saw continuous aesthetic and content upgrades along with refinements to the TPD character.

Within a few years, TPD expanded to include even more extreme, niche, and unheard-of smut websites, which resulted in thousands of reviews and shot the website's Alexa rankings skyward. In fact, there are currently over 4,500 reviews on the main site, which now earns 1.3 million daily visitors and sports a global Alexa ranking of 1,012.

In addition to all of this, TPD has also earned quite a loyal following, as can be seen by some of his reviews on third-party websites and his Twitter subscriber count. And while we cannot verify this, according to him, TPD gets not only avid supporting messages from rabid fans constantly but also flirty nudes from both female and male followers.

Who (And What) ThePornDude Is

In short, ThePornDude is a character who embodies every cocky (and big-cocked) porn star who is whip-smart and seemingly secretes pheromones so powerful women literally throw themselves at him. As a result, the character is a crass, smart-mouthed, sardonic alpha who loves pretty women, good porn, and personal success.

He also tends to find a good time in making fun of beta males, militant feminists, and, most of all, highly politically incorrect humor. In his articles, he incorporates all of this into his nonetheless insightful porn review articles.

PornDude.io – While TPD has gained quite a following over time. But unfortunately, he – like so many porn enthusiasts – has been blocked by governments in certain countries. To get around this, TPD created a separate website that is highly similar but still has unique content to get past the censors.

The Porn Dude (Gay) – We will cover this character in more depth later in this article, but the oldest sister site to the original TPD focuses on all of the homosexual and bis sites on the web. In effects, its the same crass character only with a little bit a queer streak to him.

The Porn Geek – Being the newest edition to the TPD brand, this new character was actually a response to a plagiarist who was riding on ThePornDude brand. To sum the character up, TPG is a nerdy near-middle aged virgin who adores ThePornDude but also has a bit of white knight aspect to him.

The humor is a bit different compared to TPD and instead tends to lean towards the cringey side. From what we understand, this new character and his respective site are going to be released fairly soon, and from the insider information we have seen, it will be worth reading.

It should also be noted that ThePornDude personality and brand is also quite competitive and can be quite vengeful. In fact, TPD has been known to not only call detractors but also create entire "revenge" business campaigns on imitators who have attempted to parasitize off of his brand.

Who (And What) ThePornDude Is Not

Contrary to what some may think or have been led to believe by ideological biased and sex-negative types, we have thoroughly checked, and ThePornDude is not a sexist. While he does intentionally come off as piggish and brash, from what we have seen, this is part of his character.

Further, while the character does cover virtually all of the (legal) pornography online, we have found that his ‘intos’ and the ‘types’ of women he is into is quite diverse. It should be noted that there are sex acts even he is not into. Among these, he seems to have a particular aversion to scat porn.

It should also be noted that TPD does have a few sister sites and affiliated accounts on other sites; there are some imitators who are riding on his brand. An example of one of these brazen copycats is MrPornGeek, not to be confused with ThePornGeek.

Rather than exclusively link to the standard, boring tube sites, his selection is surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprisingly) diverse and features sites from the world over.

As of now, 434 sites have been added to the list, though we suspect that as more novel nudity sites are added to the net every month, we are sure that number and its order will change over time.

So as an example, if you were to type in ‘vi,' your top results will seem random, but as you complete an actual world, your results will become more specific and relevant. To continue our example, typing ‘virg' yields top results, including sites that focus on losing virginity or innocence like Defloration and TheFappening, whereas ‘virt' gets you mostly virtual reality websites.

We mentioned earlier that the first sister site of TPD was the gay version. We also brought up the fact that this incarnation of the character has a bit of a same-sex sexual streak to him. So, that begs the question: which version of the character is the real one?

After reading around TPD Gay and getting into touch with the characters creator, we can assuredly say that ThePornDude, the original one, is most certainly heterosexual – if only a bit homosexual. From what we gather, he is "just gay enough" to be able to objective review queer porn sites just like he does on his main website.

Who Is This Site For?

Over the past several years, ThePornDude has arisen from an obscure porn blog with hundreds of incomplete or shallow review articles to a massive, multi-page porn promoting empire. While the product is clearly well-fleshed out, though the character can be considered somewhat decisive.

From what we can tell based on our assessment of this character by other reviewers as well as engaging his viewers, we have come to a few conclusions about TPD. Overall, we find his humor to be somewhat niche. However, anyone who likes to laugh and does not mind in-your-face comedy, which pulls no punches and refuses to adhere to political correctness, will enjoy his schtick.

Even if you do not care for that kind of comedy, you may find the slightly less brash form of the same type of humor and also like guy-on-guy action, then you will want to check out ThePornDude Gay. Alternatively, if you are more interested in humor based around the cringe factor but still covers porn, then the fledging site ThePornGeek (NOT Mr. PornGeek) is for you.

What Would We Change About ThePornDude Blog?

As we have admitted, TPD was an inspiration for our site so far be it from us to criticize one of our influences. However, there are some suggests, or more aptly, additions which we would recommend thePornDude add to his review & blog platform.

Listicles – Besides the current slate of general porn-related blogs, we have noticed that top ten lists seem to do especially well on all sorts of websites. Having a weekly TPD Top Ten, we think, would be a welcome addition to the site.

My New Favorite Porn Star – The TPD page is famous for discussing and ranking porn sites but rarely discusses the individual performers. A great addition to the blog would be another regular blog series describing the hottest starlets in the industry, both past, and present.

The Porn Dude Tube & Forum – Since he is the self-described King of Kink Content and reports to have quite a following – particularly with horny ladies – it only makes sense that TPD would start his own branded tube complete with a forum. With his large audience, we imagine it would not be hard to find forum participants and moderators, not to mention plenty of exhibitionists to upload their own unique sexy photos and videos.

Is This A Blog And Review Site Worth Looking Into?

As we surmised, ThePornDude is not for everyone, but those who read him seem to love him. If you like his rye humor as well, this is an expertly designed and maintained, free-to-read porn blog, which also has no adverts on it.
