Videos need to be categorized better

Although at first glance it looks as if PopJAV offers a variety of categories (and they do), take a look at the numbers of each category before giving them a round of applause. There are three sections in PopJAV's categories: uncensored maker, amateur JAV, and censored maker. Within these sections, one will find three categories with a ton of videos: The uncensored, amateur, and censored categories that each have a little over 18,000, 10,500, and 65900 videos, respectively. This may not sound like a big deal, but after looking at the number of videos in the rest of the categories it becomes obvious that PopJAV has more often than not labeled each video either uncensored, amateur, or censored. Those are broad categories and do not reflect the nature of the content within the video. Looking through the list, other categories have insanely low numbers. The cuckold category only had one video: out of tens of thousands of JAVs, there has to be more than one video on PopJAV that specializes in this kink. It's such a missed opportunity. If PopJAV had properly categorized all of its videos from the start, it would be easy to find the type of JAV one is looking for. Instead, it's now hit or miss. For those that are coming just for uncensored JAVs or merely for Japanese content without a type of video in mind, it isn't a big deal. For everyone else that wants to search for a specific kind of JAV, the process is going to take longer than one probably anticipated.

Videos load quickly

Despite the categories needing a significant overhaul, the most important thing on any JAV site is how quickly videos must load. PopJAV has spared no expense. The videos not only load extremely swiftly, but they are a joy to watch as well. Most videos are in glorious 720p/1080p/4K and look as fabulous as if you were watching them from their original source. For most people living outside of Japan, that would be impossible, so this is the next best thing.
