Keep the Dream Alive

Who among us can honestly say that they have never entertained the idea of working in the adult entertainment industry? For most men, this is a dream that we have had since teenagers – well, since whenever the first time was that we learned of the existence of porn. You don’t often see, for example, videos on Porn Hub entitled, “man with average sized penis has mediocre sex with woman.” Sure, small penis humiliation is a fetish of its own. But it isn’t a widespread enough one to hope to make a porn career off of a small (or even an average) package. To be in porn, you must be exceptional in some way. Which brings us to the next box you’ll need to tick if you hope to make a career as a porn star. Not only must you be extremely well endowed, you have to have endurance. Think about it … if the men in porn were just prematurely ejaculating all over the place all the time, how long would each shoot take? Plus, considering the duration of most full-length porn videos (around 30 minutes to an hour plus), no average Joe is going to be able to hold back ejaculation to get that kind of on-screen time. Men in porn need to have a great deal of impulse control, if you will, endurance, in order for them to make it in the industry. Then there is the fact that most porn studios want you to be in extremely good shape. Nobody wants to see a flabby dad bod going at it with some of the most beautiful women on the planet. You have to be toned, muscular, groomed, and clean. Of course, not every porn site specializes in jock types, but the majority of the mainstream ones do. There are still porn sites, however, that go out of their way to find older or less attractive men – you know, all those “older and younger” videos of grandpas lucking out and getting to sleep with 18-year-old girls. Anything and everything you could think of that involves the porn business in one way or another can be posted here … even jobs that are merely porn adjacent. For example, maybe you are a professional security guard who wants to find a job securing a porn studio, Adult Work has a section for you. Additionally, they have all sorts of miscellaneous professions that people in porn could be in need of – personal trainers, accountants, masseurs, handymen, drivers, bodyguards, medical professionals, cleaners, make up artists, etc. The list goes on and on. Plus, if you are an independent cam girl or porn starlet hopeful, Adult Work provides you with the means to advertise your services and content. Maybe you offer phone chat services, there is a whole tab dedicated to you. It offers its own camming site, AW Live. AW Lists is a one-stop shop escort directory for anyone, no matter where in the world you live. Plus, the site comes with an extremely comprehensive advanced search function that will allow you to narrow down the list of potential candidates or service providers, allowing you find the perfect one for your unique needs with ease and speed. Once you register as a member of Adult Work, you can begin perusing people’s portfolios and profiles. User Engagement Down Quite a Bit

Well, at least it looks like that was once the case. Adult Work appears to be substantially less active than it once was (presumably). Heading over to the job board tells the tale of a site turned ghost town. There are no postings, if you can believe it, in the “other jobs” section. And the lists of service providers appear to be dwindling. This is, unfortunately, a huge problem for a site that depends, almost entirely, on community engagement and active users. Of course, if you join the site and spread the word, this can always change. But, for the time being, it seems as if Adult Work is really suffering for how quiet it is. Another thing about this site is that the design appears to be very dated. Nothing about this site or its features is streamlined or modern – it looks like it was coded in the late 90s or early aughts and has never been renovated or updated since. The look of the site is clunky and cluttered. All in all, Adult Work has a lot of potential – and Porn Sites suspects that it was once a great source of finding adult work and digital sex service providers. However, it seems to have fallen out of view for many. Hopefully Adult Work can regenerate more active user engagement one day soon … and perhaps that can start with your sign up.
