A much more sexy site would not be built until 2002, but only as a commercial page for other early porn sites. Further, the webpage sported a simple black layout with white text and a few basic icons, which made the page look only slightly better than the kind of site a secondary student would make at the time.

The design did not change much over time, with the exception of the color scheme and the specific pornographers being advertised. At the end of the aughts, Camarads went up for sale and eventually was disconnected from the net.

Finally, at the end of 2016, the first version of Camarads was uploaded to the web apparently by a series of ambitious Russian entrepreneurs. Or to be more specific, a Coming Soon page was published to launch the site.

It took several more months to complete, but we think that the build was worth it since, though it looked a bit crude compared to its modern form, this site had some great live stream of real couples. Admittedly other than the live streams and chat rooms, there was not too much to look at on this site.

Fortunately, there have been some major upgrades made over the years, the first one being only within months of the official launch. A more modern-looking Camarads was developed in early 2018, and a year and a half later, the version we have now and love.

The Camarads' Website Design Is Different But Certainly Effective
